This is a solo effort from a member of Prague/PDX’s GUIDED CRADLE on a much different switchboard altogether. Austin has been playing in punk bands for well over a decade and this cd has nothing to do with punk sonically but all to do with it’s heart. “Somebody Loves You” is an 11 song journey of accoustic, bluegrass, roots music. Each song is a story told with nostalgic, Appalachian foothill style vocalizing with a hint of pretty female backing. The muscianship is stellar with a cast of banjo, fiddle, peddle steel, contra bass, and Austin’s own crisp guitar work. Overall this is an overwhelming and professional piece of work, especially for someone who has a place in her heart for ‘mountain music’.  (Hatchet)
