VINYL RETENTIVE SERIES Profane Existence Records is pleased to offer a strictly limited collectors' series of releases for the Vinyl Retentive among us. This include special edition copies of the regularly scheduled Profane Existence Records plus exclusive releases not available anywhere else. This series is only available by subscription with a new titled released approximately every other month. 2007 saw the releases Series One as a five record subscription with several early sing-up incentives. Each individual record is hand numbered and the number you receive corresponds with how early you singed up (the first person gets #1, second gets, #2, etc.). Subscribers of Series One will be given the opportunity to renew their subscription before Series Two is made available to the public. There is also a "bargain" rate for VR subscriptions for people who want to save money on postage by having the entire series sent to them in one box upon completion. The answer is simple: to help strengthen the cash flow of Profane Existence and the many activities and projects we support. With as much as we do to support all kinds of DIY projects, bands, infoshops, imprisoned comrades, etc. we sometimes find it hard to make ends meet when all is said and done. This is an effort to help ease the pain from financial bumps and bruises we often experiences while we do so much with so little money. Many of our strongest supporters are in bands and are also wicked record collector's themselves. It was with their encourgament that this idea was formed, where they could help us, and still get something truly unique in return. Profane Existence VR Series #1 is completely sold out.
