Friends and supporters of Profane Existence Magazine are organizing a benefit show at the Triple Rock Social Club in Minneapolis on the evening of March 29th. Money raised from the event will be used towards publishing PE magazine, which suffered a number of financial setbacks in 2008 resulting from the harsh economic climate. All the bands lined up to perform are local Twin Cities based and include a mix of long-time PE Records cohorts and well as younger faces on the scene.

The evening-long event starts at 5pm with an all ages punk / hardcore gig featuring a lineup of local favorites with a history dating to the mid-80's. The all ages show will have $7 entry fee and the first 50 paid through the door will receive free subscription passes for Profane Existence's new online zine. Raffle tickets will also be sold for for a bevy of prizes including vintage Profane Existence paraphernalia (raffle drawing will be held before MISERY). The bands appearing are (in reverse order):

The all ages show has to legally end before 10 pm.

After 10pm the main room of the Triple Rock will open up for a 21+ Twin Cities punk rock trivia event and afterparty. DJ's will be spinning classic punk rock tunes during the hour-long trivia contest. Contest game cards will be available for $5 each and team play is welcome (limite to 1 game card per team). The contest judges plan to tally up the scores and announce the winners/award prizes by midnight.

Prizes for the raffle and trivia contest have been donated by Pizza Lucé, the Pacfier Stores, Profane Existence and others TBA.

Profane Existence will have a small distro at the show with records, CDs, magzines and possibly even some T-shirts available.
