Artcore Fanzine has been around since 1986 and if you’ve never read an issue, now is the time my friend! Artcore #25 starts off with a fucking awesome OFF WITH THEIR HEADS/FOUR LETTER WORD U.S. tour report from October 2007. This report is huge, the layout is exquisite, and there are lots of inset photos that follow each leg of the tour. I would almost get this issue of Artcore just for the tour report alone! Not only is there the report with OFF WITH THEIR HEADS there is also a brief interview with them, as well as interviews with VIOLENT ARREST, DOUBLE NEGATIVE (word), and artists JEFF NELSON and AIMEE COOPER. Artcore Fanzine has what it calls "Vaultage" which are retrospectives and # 25 features: THE NUNS, RIPCORD, Lookout Records, and last (but certainly not least) BEEF PEOPLE. This issue, being the Vinyl Fanzine Vol. 2, includes the reissued BEEF PEOPLE Pavlov’s Dog 7" ep! The man Welly also has tons of record reviews too! I can’t say a single bad thing about Artcore Fanzine. This is a must-have! (JasonS)
